Hobbies and furniture

I have been trying to figure out "my hobby" for a while now.  I like drinking, but it is giving me a beer belly.  I tried knitting, not very good at it and hello??? I live in Hawaii, not a big need for sweaters and blankets out here.  I bought a sewing machine... um, I need lessons.  I went to the hardware store, bought some wood and a table saw and ended up with a chair while still keeping all my appendages.  I'm good at that!  After much debate, discussion and napping (on my part) the husband and I decided to start rescuing and refinishing furniture.  We have a backyard full of furniture as you can see below.  I am excited to start refinishing these.  Lots more pictures to come, meawhile, what do you think?

Two metal tables and two metal footrests.  All rusty and peely.  These need help!

We need more space!  Under the tarp a table, 4 chairs, and part of a desk.
